The mission of Caring Candles is to bring birthday parties and other childhood fun to the children in residence at Hope House.  Volunteers must be 18 years or older and attend a training session.

Hope House is a residential treatment facility that serves women who suffer from the disease of substance abuse and co-occurring mental health disorders.  Some of these women have children who live with them on site.  Hope House is the only residential treatment facility in the CSRA that allows women to bring their children with them up to the age of 13.

Wesley's Caring Candles Ministry serves the children who live at Hope House through parties that encourage healthy fun and interaction with their moms and each other.  Our parties reinforce a concept of normalcy that is fostered through Hope House's Therapeutic Childcare Program
