Congregational Care
Congregational Care has 11 ministry areas, all of which are
coordinated by and comprised of laity. Caring and
care-giving is the heart of Christian ministry at Wesley.
John 13:34 - "I have given you a
new commandment, that you love one another."
Goals for Congregational Care
- To care for the members of this church family with
Christian love, encouragement, nurture and care in both good
and difficult times
- To plan and coordinate the caring for and the caring by
our church family
- To ensure a meaningful relationship between the church and
each of our members
- To create a climate of caring so that every member will
feel at home
